However, there’s more to managed services and IT infrastructure than simply monitoring and responding. To completely round out our solutions offering BluePoint offers a set of managed service offerings, available à la carte, designed to insure the proactive health of your IT infrastructure. Again, these managed services can be chosen one by one or selected as a group or in combination with our SkyNOC service.
Operating System Patching Service:
Proactive operating system patching is the single most important way to ensure the availability, security and support ability of your server operating system. By systematically applying needed critical patches on a periodic basis, your servers are maintained at the latest level on a consistent schedule.
The BluePoint Operating System Patching service comes complete. That is to say the BluePoint supplies all of the tooling, process procedure and labor necessary to scan, evaluate, and update your servers.
Virus Protection:
For virus protection, BluePoint also supplies all the software required to detect and clean viruses according to the latest’s virus signatures available. Policies are maintained from centralized policy servers and are “pushed” to production servers daily. With this pro active service, your production servers are continuously protected against all known viruses for which signatures are available. In addition, BluePoint includes our “inoculation guarantee” where we free your servers of any virus that managed to penetrate the operating system and virus scanning barriers.
Managed Hosting:
Many of our SkyNOC customers have equipment they need hosted. We offer a full range of hosting services for our SkyNOC customers.
